exe valley tea shop
The Exe Valley Teashop is a welcoming and cosy retreat situated in the picturesque village of Brampford Speke just north of Exeter, Devon. It is a popular destination with locals (it conveniently stocks the most essential of household groceries) and a welcome stop off point for the many walkers and ramblers who enjoy the beauty and wildlife to be seen along the Exe Valley Way.
In addition to the wonderful teas, coffees, cakes and local ice creams, owner Sue Satchell has a wide range of gift items on sale that includes: an enormous collection of original and reproduction metal/enamel advertising signs; a range of high quality carpet bags; and lots of other treasures that have to be seen to be believed!
Sue's website neatly captures and displays the many facets of her community focussed business (we haven't mentioned the Wildlife Watch groups, Educational visits, Film Society, Bed & Breakfast; Chapel; and Village Hall events!) in a modern, easy to navigate design, that has become a useful tool for visitors and villagers alike.
Note: the homemade cakes and Salcombe Dairy ice creams are just fabulous!
